Sage and SAP Software Customer Service Representative Job Description
Responsible for assisting customers in the Day-to-Day operations of their Sage Pro ERP accounting software or SAP Business One Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position would involve assisting users with their Sage or SAP software*. You would be responsible for providing support to customers via telephone and/or online connection such as PCAnywhere, Terminal Services or Citrix. Some onsite visits to client sites may be required. Responsibilities also include an understanding of the basic principles of accounting, some knowledge of computers, and a detailed understanding of the Sage Pro ERP and SAP Business One software.
Extensive knowledge of the core Sage Pro ERP accounting software and/or SAP Business One ERP software is of critical importance. Knowledge of and experience with popular Sage Pro or SAP Business One ”Add-On” modules for Contact Management, Manufacturing and Job Costing would also be very helpful. Experience as an accounting, customer relationship management (CRM), inventory management ERP software system trainer, is a must. Professional appearance and strong communication skills will be vital in the office and on the customer site. This position involves limited travel. Sage Software* and SAP Software version upgrade training will be provided as the software continues to evolve.
